Fan Made Ghostbusters (2016) Teaser Trailer (recut)

Film director Bevan Bell, a huge Ghostbusters fan, based in LA, has taken it upon himself to recut the studio released trailer for Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters remake. Telling fellow fans “I knew [the trailer] could be better. I added the original soundtrack, some original movie sound effects… and [cut] it into something I might enjoy watching.” While also making the trailer much faster, cutting the repetitious lines, and the less humorous out-of-context humor, all while leaving in the recognizable ghosts and plasma that we fans would have at least expected a bit from a “Ghostbusters film.” We hope you enjoy this version of the trailer as much as we did, but this does not mean that the movie will be any better when it releases, July 15, 2016.

Directed by Paul Feig. With Kristen Wiig, Chris Hemsworth, Melissa McCarthy, Karan Soni. 30 years after the original Ghostbusters franchise, the team is rebuilt into a new more modern update with today’s funniest female comics.

  1. What kills me is that this is the second major trailer to be re-tweaked for a more interesting peek. I swear, is Hollywood dialing it in now?

First was “Man of Steel’s” poor second trailer, btw.

Oh and who remembers when the Fan-Made Green Lantern film trailer was FAR better than the real movie trailer – and film? We almost fell for it back in the day.
