SDCC 2016: ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ New Trailer Released

Warner Bros. has revealed a new trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them — a movie adapted based off of a Hogwarts textbook that first appears in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.  It was also its own standalone book Rowling wrote in 2001.

The film is said to take place in 1926 and in the famous wizarding world.  Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything and Les Misérables) stars as Newt Scamander (which is also known as the pseudonym that Rowling used to write the book) in this adventure full of magic.  Scamander is a magizoologist who carries a briefcase full of these “fantastic beasts” that later cause trouble as they manage to free themselves into New York City.
