1935 – Bob Hope first heard on network radio as part of “The Intimate Revue”

1936 – Billboard Magazine Publishes First Pop Music Chart

1958 – Sputnik 1 reenters atmosphere & burns up

1970 – Beatles final recording in studio as a group. The final song, and album were “Let It Be”

1972 – HP introduces the HP-35 – which was the first handheld scientific calculator

1982 – “Sally Forth” comic strip, by Greg Howard, begins syndication.

1984 – “Night Court” starring Harry Anderson premieres on NBC TV
